Generate Game Assets in Claude
Bring Ludo's full asset pipeline into Claude. Add one MCP server to Claude Desktop or Claude Code and generate sprites, 3D models, music and more from a prompt, then drop the engine-ready files straight into your game.
What is the Ludo MCP for Claude?
The Ludo MCP server connects Ludo's generative AI to Claude through the Model Context Protocol, so you can create game-ready sprites, animations, 3D models, images, music, sound effects, and video by asking Claude in plain language. It works with both Claude Desktop and Claude Code: add the server once and Claude generates engine-ready assets and returns the files directly in your conversation.
One prompt away, right from Claude
Sprites, animations, icons, UI, backgrounds and more, all generated through the Ludo MCP and returned engine-ready.

Generate audio from the same prompt
Music, sound effects, and character voices, generated through the Ludo MCP and returned as audio files.

Get your API key
Sign up at ludo.ai and copy your API key from app.ludo.ai. API and MCP access is included on the Pro and Studio plans.
Add Ludo to Claude
In Claude Code, run: claude mcp add ludo https://mcp.ludo.ai/mcp -t http -H "Authorization: ApiKey YOUR_API_KEY". In Claude Desktop, add the same server URL and header to your MCP config.
Prompt for assets
Ask Claude to generate a sprite, 3D model, track or sound effect, and Ludo returns production-ready, engine-ready files you can use right away.
FAQ
Get an API key at app.ludo.ai, then add the Ludo MCP server (https://mcp.ludo.ai/mcp) to Claude. In Claude Code, run "claude mcp add ludo https://mcp.ludo.ai/mcp -t http -H 'Authorization: ApiKey YOUR_API_KEY'". In Claude Desktop, add the same URL and header in your MCP settings. Claude can then call Ludo's generation tools directly from a prompt.
Yes. The Ludo MCP server is a remote HTTP server, so it works with Claude Desktop, Claude Code, and any other MCP-compatible client using the same URL and API-key header.
Sprites and sprite-sheet animations, images, icons and UI, 3D models (GLB with PBR textures), music, sound effects, character voices and video: the same generators available in the Ludo app and REST API.
No. Over MCP every generation tool returns a job id right away, and Claude collects the result with getApiJob, which waits up to 60 seconds per call and can simply be called again. Nothing holds a tool call open while a 3D model or a video renders.
Yes. API and MCP generations use credits, image generation included, even on plans with unlimited web features. API, MCP and CLI access is included on the Pro ($50/mo) and Studio plans.
Yes. The Ludo CLI (npm install -g @ludoai/cli, then ludo login) runs the same generators from the terminal with far fewer tokens than MCP, and ludo skill install teaches Claude Code how to use it. Claude Desktop, which cannot run commands, keeps using the MCP server.
Yes. Each generator accepts an optional request_id that tags the result, and the results endpoints return your recent API-generated assets for up to 7 days, useful when a long 3D or video job outlasts the conversation.
