Get Your API Key

Log in at app.ludo.ai, open API Keys from the sidebar or the user menu, name your key and click Create key. Copy it right away: it is shown only once.

Call the API

Send requests to https://api.ludo.ai/api/ with the Authorization: ApiKey YOUR_API_KEY header.

Async Generation

Generations run as jobs by default, so your scripts never have to hold a connection open:

Send a generation request as usual and get an instant 202with a job id.
Fetch the result with GET /assets/jobs/{id}?wait=30: the call waits up to 30 seconds and returns the moment your generation finishes.
List recent jobs with GET /assets/jobs, or cancel a queued one with DELETE /assets/jobs/{id} (credits refunded).

Synchronous responses are deprecated. They still work if you add "async": false to a request body, but new integrations should use jobs.

Generation History

GET /assets/generations lists everything you have generated: filter by type, search by text, and choose the source (api, web, or all), paginated newest first.

API-generated results expire after 7 days, so download anything you want to keep. Fair use: up to 50 generations queued or running per account, and 150 read requests per 5 minutes.
