AI Voice Generator for Games
Give every character a voice: design a human or non-human voice from a description or the character's own image, clone a voice for consistent lines, or pick one of 21 preset voices in 80+ languages, and direct the delivery of every line.
What is an AI voice generator for games?
An AI voice generator for games creates character dialogue and voice lines from text. With Ludo you design a human or non-human voice from a description or straight from the character's image, clone a voice so a recurring character always sounds the same, or pick a preset voice, and direct how each line is delivered. You export game-ready audio clips, with no voice actors or recording sessions.

Design, clone or pick a voice
Describe a human or non-human persona, add the character's image and let Ludo design a voice that fits it, clone a voice from a sample, or pick one of 21 preset voices.
Write the lines
Type what the character says, in the language it should be spoken: up to 250 characters a line for cloned and preset voices.
Direct the delivery
Add a delivery note like "whispering, nervous" or "angry, shouting" to a cloned or preset voice, then download the clip.
What devs build with it
NPC and character dialogue
A distinct voice for every speaker, and preset voices as the fastest way to voice a crowd of NPCs.
Creatures and monsters
Non-human voices for dragons, golems, goblins, robots and stylized beings.
A voice from the character art
Add a portrait or sprite and get a voice designed to fit the character, no description needed.
Consistent recurring characters
Clone a voice once and keep it consistent across every line and update.
FAQ
Yes. In Human Voice or Non-Human Voice, describe the persona and how it should sound, add the character's image, or both, and Ludo designs a matching voice and reads a line of up to 100 characters in it.
Yes. Add a portrait, sprite or concept image as the Character Image and the voice is designed to fit the character. With an image, the description is optional, so a few words of hints are enough.
Yes. Upload a voice sample (up to 15 MB), including a voice you designed in Ludo, and generate new lines of up to 250 characters in that same voice, so recurring characters stay consistent.
Add a delivery note of up to 50 characters, like "whispering, nervous" or "angry, shouting", to a cloned or preset voice, and the line is read that way.
The 21 preset voices cover 80+ languages, and Auto detects the language from your text. For designed and cloned voices, write the line in the language it should be spoken.
Designing a voice and speaking with a cloned voice cost 2 credits a line, and a preset voice 1 credit, on every plan.
Yes. Ludo's API, MCP server and CLI, included in the Pro plan, design, clone and preset voices, so an agent like Claude or Cursor can voice a game's characters while it builds it. The API also keeps 14 descriptive preset voices that take one of 8 emotions instead of a delivery note.
Yes. You own the audio you generate with Ludo and can use it however you like, including in commercial games.
