What are social and emote animation presets?
Social animation presets are the motions a character aims at other characters or at the player: gestures and communication, emotions and reactions, and dances and exercise. In Ludo's library each emote is a named, repeatable motion, which is what turns a sprite that can walk and fight into one that can also greet, taunt and celebrate.

Frequently asked questions
Are there emote animations for sprites?
Ludo's social group holds gestures and communication, emotions and reactions, and dances and exercise as its three categories, covering waves, points, shrugs, cheers, celebrations and dance loops. Each emote is a named preset with a video preview, so the exact gesture is visible before it goes on a sprite.
Can I use these for NPC reactions?
NPC work is a natural fit. Because each reaction in Ludo's library is a named preset rather than a prompt, the same motion repeats identically across an entire cast, and every preset renders from five camera perspectives and in eight compass directions, so a whole town can share one set of gestures in whatever view the game uses.
How long is a preset animation?
Every preset in Ludo's library lists its duration in seconds beside its video preview, and most social motions are short, a beat or two of gesture. The frame count of the generated sheet is a separate choice: square grids of 4, 9, 16, 25, 36, 49 or 64 frames, so a quick wave does not have to fill a large sheet.
Do dance animations loop?
Dance and exercise presets in Ludo come back loop-ready when loop mode is on: the generated sheet is trimmed for looping, so the routine can repeat for as long as the music plays. That makes the dances usable as ambient crowd motion, or as player emotes that hold until cancelled.
